Boyfriend says I ask/say stupid things all the time, is he right?

So my boyfriend gets angry at me a lot if I say or ask what he considers something stupid. He says that’s his biggest issue with me and it causes fights. Like for example we were driving and he lost his phone.

Later on in the drive I saw the phone in his hand and I said “oh you found your phone”. He said yes obviously it’s in my hand that’s a retarded question. I know it was cos I saw it but it’s just way I make conversation with him and I don’t know why I said it. Then he stays annoyed at me for asking stupid things. I think it’s just the way I am, my personality. I get how it can be annoying though. Am I really annoying? If so , how do I catch myself being stupid?

My mom does that. by the way he is rewiring your brain. You're decreasing you self image. Shyness is a symptom of being overly criticized very early in life.

You may not understand what he is doing to your mind but he most certainly is rewiring you and not for the better. Especially cause you attract what your wiring is in harmony with.

It definitely can be annoying but he is also way overreacting. Tell him how it makes you feel when he does that. He might be immature or it was learned from his household. He could possibly have undiagnosed adhd and or autism.

He is just an ass! My girlfriend would be so happy I cared for her phone and she found it!

Those are not dumb he is manipulating you making you feel so bad about yourself!

I think it’s because he knew I saw he had the phone in his hand so saying oh you found the phone is stupid cos it was clearly an obvious question
