I’ve had a really hard time dating. Over the past year, I’ve only been on one in-person date and one virtual date. I’ve tried dating sites/apps and meet up events, but most of the women I match with/meet barely talk and almost always ghost.
Should I leave the apps alone and stop going to events? How did you meet your significant other?

I met her where I work. I bartend at a bar/club and she kept coming on and sitting at my end of the bar. She was flirty but pretty shy. So after she kept coming in I finally bought her a drink she liked and we talked a bit once it slowed. I got her number and we planned a lunch date. It was pretty recent and we are still seeing each other. Definitely has gotten more serious. She is spending the night at my place Sunday on my night off.
