Can you help me understand what to make of the situation between us?

so basically about a month ago is started dating my best friend of 14 years. and its been going amazing. dating the girl I've been crazy about for years, we enjoy being with each other hang out a lot etc... well a few days ago it came time to move to the ultimate step of having sex. i told her point blank i was a virgin (gona find out anyway) im not ashamed of it or embarrassed its a choice I've made and im ok with it. i think the reason is it hasn't interested me because i dont think I've ever felt someone was special enough to me where i was motivated to give myself away in that regard till now. at first she didn't seem to upset but the next day it kind of changed she said she was devastated i asked her on a date hiding that (didn't really think it was that important) and she couldnt be with me knowing this. and our conversation ended with her telling me to have a nice life. well the next day everything seemed fine asked to hang out, we have hung out. we went to a comedy show the other night, caught her looking at me smiling multiple times, finding excuses to touch me, didn't shy away from me holding her hand etc... everyone at our table thought we were a couple because they said you look great together (our table was a little older crowd) and when she went to the bathroom i told the lady i didn't know if we were or not but when we started holding hands said lady who was behind me whispered in my ear trust me y'all are fine. my only concern she was drinking so dont know how to take this. she wasn't blackout or plastered but still had a shot and a mixed drink. also the night before she kept saying i like you etc and i ended up driving her car with her friend back to her place and we were stuck behind construction and she kept touching me on the leg back of the head etc... does it sound like she's still into me. also i asked her when she was blackout what bothered her about my virginity and when i said are you worried about a sexless relationship she nodded her head

Can you help me understand what to make of the situation between us?
