I dated this guy and broke up with him because his crazy ex was bullying me and trying to ruin my life. Long story. He has stopped by my work and we have talked a couple of times and I've gone to some of his football games. The last time he texted me was August 28th and he told me his ex tried to date mine. He also called me his cute little nickname for me. I never responded.
Now I really want to reach out and ask him if his friend is still doing the sport we both play and if there talking again because they got into a pretty bad fight. The only thing is I'm afraid that his ex will make things worse, I'm also afraid that he won't respond, another thing is he has hoco in a week and what if he tells me he's going with someone else.

Lowkey it doesn't sound like you should've broken up with him, but I don't know all the details. Usually tho you break up with someone because of them, not because of someone they don't like.

How do I make it stop though? I feel like I'm missing out on life to protect myself. i had to give up helping with an event because she was doing it. Is that fair? I mean I have to look out for my well-being but still, it pisses me off.
Well there's usually only 3 ways to deal with a bully. Stand up to them and kick their ass if need be, have somebody else kick their ass, or have your parents, school, or cops do something about it.
