This guy has been talking to me everyday, and he mentioned birthday plans and he didn't invite me, should I assume he is talking to other girls or is not thinking of me long term? If he isn't I just won't invest anymore time with him

I'm not entirely sure which part to explain. You've only been on two dates. He likely made plans already for his birthday prior to the very short time he's known you. I don't both introducing someone I've only been on two dates with to my friends. Even if you talked every day. You've known him a month. You don't get automatically included in the circle of friends that soon.
