Ex told me to date others then tells me I’m playing games, why?

My ex is confusing me he kept saying I should date others even when I said no, he kept insisting. Today I decided to download a dating app again, we had an argument, I said to him I still care but he then threw the fact I downloaded a dating app again in my face? Why suggest it just to throw it in my face?

I do agree that it's strange that someone who ended a relationship is acting this way.

Yeah it is very strange. I left him as it was getting toxic. But he kept telling me I should date which I thought was weird because he wanted to talk to me again. Now that I’ve decided to do it because I don’t think he is interested in meeting up etc, he then says “you say you have feelings for me but your on dating apps”?
