I started dating this guy a month ago. He’s super sweet to me and genuine. But we have different ideas of having fun. I like being quiet, staying home watching movies, go on a hike, relax at the beach, and if I wanna go out I prefer a restaurant or a lounge, I just don’t like loud and crowded places. He’s opposite, he likes to be around people, he likes going on parties etc. today we are going for his friend party and it’s gonna be many people, then tomorrow is another birthday party. He’s excited and I’m just anxious. I don’t want to go, I don’t like this type of stuff. He knows that I don’t enjoy this type of entertainment but I also don’t want to hold him back. What do you guys think, is it ok to have different personalities or it’s not gonna work cuz we both like totally different things

Your out going energy will quickly run out and it will lead to a fight

He is more outgoing then me but I still can keep up but it's like a hang out or movie with friends or board game night at more once a week.

Try it and talk if he won't understand and try to help you then it's over

He won't stop partying and being constantly with people.

It’s not also like he’s partying everyday or every weekend, but even this party today makes me so anxious and the one tomorrow. IT’s weekend and I want to relax after work and I have just no energy for that. And going out for movies with friends, going for drinks, I like that ! But not like clubs and parties. He knows it tho, I told him already this, few time but his saying that this is his form of clearing his head after having difficult time. I really like him, he does treat me well but I just hate places like this and spending my free time this way. When I was in university I did go to clubs but I’m almost 28 and it’s doesn’t sounds like fun anymore

Or grin and bear it and just hope nothing else comes for a while

Being introverts yeah our good time is just alone nothing much going on!

He’s a first man that I feel good with so I really want to go and just be happy for him, and I told him that he can go alone but he wants me there with him. I just don’t want him to see that I’m bored or upset cuz I would feel also horrible if I would take him place that I like and he would look upset. On the other hand I’m not a great actor so I don’t know if I can pretend that I have fun there, and im scared if I will play it good he will think I really like it and he’s gonna take me more often 😂

New update, he told me that he’s going there to help them and he’s gonna see me at 10pm, he didn’t mention costumes before even tho that I asked him, he said he’s not dressing up. Now he told me that he has a costume cuz that guy that makes the partie said we need it. I have no freaking costum and he already got it. I don’t know now I feel like he maybe doesn’t even want me there. Cuz he’s telling me now I need to dress up and the party is today 🤦🏼‍♀️

He told me about this party like 2 days ago anyway, he said it’s a Halloween party, so first thing I asked about costumes. And he clearly said no needed and he clearly said he’s not dressing up. And he called me now to say he has to go and help them, and he has a costume and I told him that I have nothing and he said that I can go to store now, it’s Friday and I’m working 🤦🏼‍♀️ first of all I never wanted to go, but now I don’t want to go even more… and when we were talking it sounded like I’m a drama queen and like always I’m making a problem etc, but he's just giving me some news all the time

We are at the party and he just left me here like 30 minutes ago and I’m alone 🤦🏼‍♀️ everyone is with some friends, he knows most of this people here, he left somewhere, and I’m just on my own, this is not ok right

I’m total introvert, I can’t make friends 😂 and clubs are just not my thing at all, I don’t mind having a party with group of friends, but clubs, just hearing it makes me exhausted already
But it’s something that he likes for whatever reason and I feel like I should at least try to like it for him

That’s when you talk to him and explain how it’s up to him to make sure you are taken care of. He can’t just leave you alone. He’s gotta introduce you to people and be a team. Only if and when you feel comfortable and have people to talk to can he circulate. Did you bring this up with him?

Yes I did, he said was one time cuz he had to help the guy that was on stage etc. but I still feel like I shouldn’t be there alone. So many drunk guys were coming to me, and when I was saying that I have a boyfriend they were laughing and saying that I’m alone all the time and he should be with me
