Is a woman interested if she gave you her number?

I met a girl at my place of work.

She is a trainee, whereas I am an instructor. I am not her instructor though. I was just helping out until they found her an instructor. I had 17 trainees to teach.

Anyway, she was struggling a bit with the reversing. I showed her my technique and she became good at it. She thanked me.

The next day I was teaching again, and she said she hoped her instructor will be as nice as me.

She was then given an instructor, and came up to me to tell me. She said she didn't want that instructor but wanted me. So she went to the manager and asked of I could be her trainee.

She came back and said they refused. But I asked her to exchange numbers and she did. She dropped called me so I would have it.

My colleagues said that it sounds like she is really into me, as they said why would she care who her instructor was, along as she had one. They said trainees don't care.

If a woman gives you her nunber, does it mean she likes you? Or is at least interested?

Please ask just based on the above and not "instructor-trainee relationship" stuff. In this country it isn't frowned upon.

Well, it is tough to say based on this one sign. Yes it is a good sign if a woman herself gives you her number.

At least it is clear she is interested to talk and interact with you. A sign of friendship is possible but anything more than that it would depend on how she interacts and talks with you. How she acts around you etc.

Okay. Well Friday I was her instructor for the day.

We talked about everything. Favourite holidays, places we want to visit, our hobbies and interests. We seem to have a lot in common.

She then adjed if I have kids and I showed her a picture. She said my son was a pretty boy.

My colleague who wad sitting at the back of the vehicle was on his phone but listening. He said the way we talked we clicked.

When I got back to depot, I showed her my car and she got in. She asked if she could drive it, which i let her.

Anyway, when she goy out she said she had to hurry because she had to go see her sister.

I got her to do one reversing manoeuvre, and when she did it, she started looking round as if looking for soneone. I came back and we talked more. She wasn't in a hurry to leave.

I asked her to let me know when she is free and we can go out fir a drive in my car. She said she will, enthusiastically.

I then said I am off home and left. She then left. She seem to wait even though was in a hurry to see her sister
