We mutually broke up when I got into college and he went into the army. Six years later I have a job as a business operations assistant, I go to get coffee on my day off and I see him. I'm wearing a casual shorts and t shirt, and he's looking sharp in his army gear. His head is shaved clean and he is muscular and has a presence in the room. He came and hugged me, I never thought I'd see him again. We chatted and got updated on each other's lives. He told me he's a corporal now and I was like wow. He told me I looked great. We exchanged numbers and he asked me out on a date. He picked me up in his van and we went to a coffee shop in a different area. He bought the stuff and we chatted. We went on a second date, and we spend some time at my apartment after. We were sitting on the couch, and he said "Remember when I used to..." and we kissed. Then he pushed my shirt up so my belly was exposed and I smiled. "You comfortable?" he asked. He kissed my neck and my belly like he used to back then and it felt great. We did nothing further though. Am I going down a slippery slope here?

I didn't really mention that to him, although I think he respects me enough. It's how I feel when he's around though, I get so excited and giddy and girly. I want him to take me seriously too, and not only see my body.

He will respect you for that and add in no touching beyond your belly!
