Sixth date coming up, what to expect?

Soon going on the sixth date with an amazing girl. I like her, she likes me. No kissing or sex yet which is fine for me because I like to take things slow. She likes to cuddle and hold hands tho which I also love.

We have been dating for about 2 months and before that we were writing for about 1,5 weeks. We text every day, mostly she texts first but sometimes I manage to be first.

They just opened up an ice rink in the plaza, so that's where we will start our date (her suggestion).

I have never been to more than two dates with a girl before cause the only relationship I've had started in a friendship.. and this girl has never been in a relationship before.. I don't really know what to expect from a sixth date and what it means? I already know she likes me, she hasn't told me directly but she gives all signs (and a friend spilled the beans).

We have talked a little loosely about celebrating the New Year together since non of us had plans with friends, and if that happens I think that would be a perfect time for the first kiss right?

I wouldn't worry too much about expectations for the 6th date. Just have fun like you have been! The ice rink does seem like a fun idea. Maybe try holding her hand or giving her a hug hello/goodbye if it feels right. Go with the flow and read her signals.

As for New Years, that could definitely be a good time for a first kiss! Only do it if the moment feels right though. Maybe at midnight to ring in the new year together :) Just don't force it. The great thing is it seems like you're both comfortable taking things slow.

The 6th date went really good. The ice skating was fun and after that she took me to a place by the water with the castle as a view and asked me about my feelings for her. As I said, I already knew about her feelings and she apparently was pretty sure about mine but she wanted to get it confirmed. We decided to be exclusive but still take it slow and we both have deleted our dating apps (actually before this even happened).
After this we went to the movies spontaneously and had a great time and then waited for the bus home (we live along the same bus line). This was the first time we have been out in public and holding hands, arms around etc... so that was a big step I think.
A week later we had a taco and movie night at her place and it was amazing.
At this point we still haven't kissed, had s*x or spent the night at eachother's place... but it doesn't bother me. I don't want to rush anything.

Then new years eve came. We met in our hometown for a drink and spend midnight together. I knew I wanted a kiss at midnight and I thought she might wanted it too. Midnight came... I was about to do it, and she too was about to kiss me... but it ended with a eskimo kiss🤣 I was too much of a coward... maybe one more drink would have done it... but we stood there hugging hard for a long time and after a while she looked at me and said something along the lines "new year, and I thought maybe a kiss. If that's okay". So there it was, our first kiss :) not exactly how I wanted, but close enough.
After that we walked back to the city centre holding hands and went to another pub for a last drink. Then we went to the park waiting for her bus. Now, holding hands this time feels even more like an achievement than when we did it in public last time... cause we both live in a city we don't grew up in and non of us know that much people here... but on new years we were in our home town, were both of us know a lot of people and to me holding hands in public under those circumstances is an indicator of feeling secure about the person you are with.. like you don't mind anyone finding out you are dating that person.

It feels good. I hope we both come to the point when we make it an official relationship. I think I am ready, but I don't want to rush anything... and I know that everything of this is very new to her and I don't want to rush her either.

It happened the night between Sunday and Monday. It was quite spontaneously that we decided to watch a few movies together at her place and then she didn't want me to leave so I said I could stay because I didn't start work until the afternoon anyway... so I stayed... we had just had our second kiss.

We tried to sleep but since it was the first night with eachother it was a little bit too much butterflies to sleep... so we made out a little... or quite a lot and then she suddenly stopped and turned on the light and just said "I love you" and I said I felt the same and then we continued and then she asked "are we together now?" And I answered something like "it depends of what you want the answer to that question to be". So like 4 in the morning we officially became a couple😅
