How to let a man know in a kind good way that he and I don't work and that I want to spend time for myself?

It's also because of personal reasons that I want to work on myself and need to work more to make life easier for me.

He just sees it as; an opportunity to prove himself but I was pretty clear that's not what I meant because he is a good man.
I just want to do this all alone so I don't have to depend on someone else and can make life easier for my future lover.
I told him that, without the future lover part, but he just don't want to give up and says he loves me.

by the way we only chat a lot and haven't even met. So no hard feelings on that part tho.

What do you think it's good to say to him without hurting his feelings?

Yo that sounds tough. I can see why he wouldn't wanna give it up if he really likes you. But you gotta do what's best for you too.

Maybe say something like, "I really appreciate how much you care about me and want to be there. But right now I need to focus on myself and figure some personal stuff out alone. It's nothing you did - you seem like a great guy. I just need this time to grow as a person."

Emphasize it's about your own journey, not him at all. And that who knows what future could hold once you work on you. That might soften the blow.

You could also say if he's open to being friends for now, that could be cool. But no promises of anything more until you get yourself situated. And stick to your boundaries if he keeps pushing - just make it about you, not judging him.

Hope he's understanding. You gotta do you! It'll all work out - hope he comes around.

People just can’t take no for a answer. Be nice. Tell him no. If he won’t stop. Well… You may have to be more firm. Sometimes you just have to let someone have it.
