It depends on how they died. If they got killed for acting a fool then yes I would feel the same. I'm sure it would be great if a dead beat was gone but I'd have to wonder about the decisions the woman made that allowed the dead beat anywhere near her womb to create a child
I'm in a loving relationship with my partner 3 years 2 children but before him I was a single mother to one child, that was 11 years ago I was single for 8 of those years. Had nothing to do with my decision to be with a deadbeat at all.. I got pregnant the day I lost my v card to him we were engaged and all even living together so for me it was all very real until I ended things because of the cheating, lying and wanting 0 contact with his kid after she was born. it's definitely not the mother's fault, some men are just sleezebag deadbeats. but I ended up finding a man that loves me regardless of me being a single mother.
I got the shaft one time doing this though. I took her and her two kids out to see Christmas lights. I think this was date number two and she to not be romantic because she doesn't want to confuse her kids and make them think she's met someone new. I'm like okay, that's fine. This kind of made the whole date sort of boring because I didn't really know what to do other than act like a friend. That's what she wanted, anyways, afterwards she's like I just don't feel a spark. Well no shit! You told me not to make any! She just wanted a free outing with her and the kids.

That's a "stretch" which I believe shouldn't be imposed on him.
Its a nice gesture, but not an expectation.
Yeah, unless he’s ok with her bringing the kids to the date or her not being able to go on the date, then of course he should.
Old enough to spread your legs then you’re old enough to be an adult
she has to pay for or find one anyways if she wants to go out at all
Hell no.
Single guys should not date single moms anyway.
You think married guys should date single moms? There are no other choices.
@msc545
Single dads should date them.
you said the opposite before but OK.
I never really thought of that, but I think that’s a classy move👍
It would be a nice gesture, but of course it is unlikely most men would even think about doing it.
No the child is her responsibility not his.. Nor is it his job to order extra at the restaurant do she can give it to her kid..
Nope those are children are not his responsibility they might be someday but not today.
Babysitter? Why ain't the child at their fathers? If the father is gone there is no way I would date a woman that lets losers cum in them.
What if the babies father died, would you still feel the same way? Half the time it's great the dead beat dads are gone anyway.

I'm happy you found someone that can overlook your past. I hope you appreciation him for the Saint he is and I hope he loves your other kid too.
Thank you, I do appreciate everything he has done for me and he does, he's done lots for her too, I'm truly blessed!
I always say she's welcome to bring them with, they never do though. Grant it this is the first couple dates.

There should have been an option for i would not date a single mum
It's a nice offer but definitely not his responsibility.
Just dont date if u can't afford a baby sitter. Dont let a man pay for it or else maybe he will expect something else in return girl..!
I MEAN ITS NOT HIS RESPONSIBILITY BUT IF I LIKED HER ENOUGH I WOULDN'T MIND HELPING
Oh, absolutely. I'd consider it a privilege to pay for her babysitter.
Say it with me "being a single mom is not a coupon code!"
That’s just setting the expectations for the relationships. He’ll always be paying for her poor planning and bad decisions.
Nope thanks and i prefer a single woman without kids
Without kids, i mean without babies, toddlers...
No. That's definitely not his responsibility.
