I found a girl that’s studied from my uni. Shall I message her and be like, hi I’m ‘’my name’ did you graduate from x uni? Oh me too Then later say I think she’s pretty etc.

yo man I feel you, university girls are smokin. But you gotta play it cool when hitting one up outta nowhere on Insta. Don't come on too strong right away.

My advice would be, comment on one of her pics first just saying something casual like "Nice photo!" After she sees you a few times, then DM her and be like "hey, didn't we study at the same uni? *name of school* small world." Chat for a bit about school stuff to break the ice.

Once you've exchanged a few messages and she seems into talking, that's when you can mention thinking she's pretty. But do it chill, like "you always seemed cool in class, funny we're just meeting now". Compliment her personality first to seem genuine.
