Am I overreacting or overthinking my boyfriend has moved in w a female roommate?

I’ve been with him for 5 years and he knows this person for 20 years. He refers to her as his cousin and how they’re family but it makes me uncomfortable he decided to move in w her. I’ve known that he always complains about living w his parents because they’re mentally abusive. On that part I understand I guess he wants a place to live stress free. But is it wrong I’m overreacting because he also didn’t tell it was a female friend. Made me really skeptical. He said he didn’t want to make me jealous but it felt more a stab to my chest. Not to mention we are in a long distance relationship and I’m still in school. It’s been a week he’s there and I’m trying to be positive but it kind of bothers me. It’s a deal breaker. He’s very understanding and tell me he wants me and they are not liked what i probably imagine.
