So we texted a bit and then went on a phonecall in evening. He told me about an encounter he had a while back. A woman came up to him at the gym and said "you're gorgeous". They then both spoke and met up he was sat in the car whilst she went to the toilet. He saw on her phone that she is the mother of a few kids. He stopped it right there and said he didn't continue as he'd like his own kids one day. I was just very confused and thought why is he telling me this?
I may have judged too soon. I do think he's gorgeous and he said I'm really pretty. However this kind of put me off, I don't know if he's just looking for a hookup. We met on a matrimonial app and I am more serious about things and a few years older than him. I said I'd like someone who is even a bit religious and he said "there are a lot of other issues couples have to go through so wanting someone to be religious isn't something to look for"
I am unsure if I should still give it a go. He is very different to me, he's more chilled and open. Whereas I'm more closed off. But I think this can really work sometimes, like opposites can attract? I think he's both cute and I like his personality. However I don't want to get myself into a mess in my late 20s.
