Is it fair for my boyfriend to think that just because he got cheated on in the past, it's fair for him to constantly accuse me of doing the same?

I've been with my boyfriend since 3 years. I love everything about him, except for the fact that he constantly accuses me of cheating. He has this internalized fear of getting cheated on because his ex cheated on him with his friend. But that was a very long time ago, and because of that, he thinks it's fair to basically imply I'm a w**e by asking questions like "do u have anyone on the side? 😒". He doesn't even let me talk about male actors! And whenever i even slightly mention a guy, he just freaks out like anything. When i try to defend myself, he justifies it by saying " I'm insecure okay, I have the right to be". Basically, he doesn't think he's doing anything wrong. Should i just break up with him to put my mind at ease? Or it's too much?

Nope, not fair at all. You weren’t the one to do that to him. I get why he feels insecure because of the past, but it is effective his current relationship.

He needs to work upon himself first. You're not wrong to feel to bad about his behavior. We don't own for the mistakes someone else did to our current partners in their past.

I'd sit him down and give him a stern talking to. Explain that if you hear him say the words 'cheat' 'affair'or ''adultery', etc, he's out.
