I am seeing this guy, who I met online 3 years ago. We were friends for that duration until he messaged me a few months ago he realised he likes me this whole time. After that we started dating for a few months now (2 months) and he said to me he started to love me for who I am, even without seeing what I look like. Again, he said he would find it hard to dump me based on physical attraction because he really likes/loves me a lot. We talk every morning and night time.
I am holding back on sending him a photo of what I look like to see if what he feels is real, but I am also removing some botox which will alternate my appearance significantly. So I do not want to catfish him.
I'm actually scared his lying to me about everything he said, his actions are so genuine and I can tell he deeply cares for me. I'd feel so heartbroken if he rejected me on physical attraction. His already spoken about me going to see him and wants to videocall first.
My main question is: Do guys prefer physical appearance when looking for a long term partner?
I'm so scared! Haha; I don't think Im that bad looking, I'd give myself a 5-6/10. The ladies love him but he chooses me. Am I over-reacting? His 25 and Im 24
