If it is for a one night stand, friends with benefits or anything simply just sexual with the sole intention to fornicate, then yes, I believe that the looks are the element that will prevail. But that way of thinking is superficial.

However, if you intend to build a long term relationship, then looks are not important at all. What is way more important are the character, intellect, personality and compatibility of that person.

Looks fade with time. A good looking person may be less than appealing in 30+ years and then you have to live with a person that you find totally unattractive. On the other hand, character and personality stay a lifelong. Those are much more important assets than a 6 pack or big breasts.
