My boyfriend has super cringey nicknames for both of us, and he flips out whenever I tell him so?

I've been with my boyfriend for a year now. A couple of months ago, he came up with nicknames for both of us that go like dudu (him) and bubu (me). He even doubles down and calls me "cutie bubu" which annoys the f**k out of me, but I didn't say anything so as to not upset him, until I just couldn't keep it bottled up anymore. I didn't yell at him, I just told him that I don't like these new nicknames he's come up with, and I especially don't like it when he says stuff like "I'm ur dudu, talk to me" . He got kinda upset and then said he has no plans of stopping, since he thinks it's a "symbol of love". He even thinks it's hot when he calls me "babysis" bcoz he has a step sibling kink. I haven't gotten used to it, I just bottle it all up, and I'm afraid it can explode anytime soon.

You don't want to upset him.
If you hate it that much, tell him to stop with the dumb shit or you'll give him the toe. But don't threaten unless you'll really do it.
