A guy I've seen about a month texted me on Monday saying he has gonorrhea. It was half my fault, so I can't point fingers or be pissed off, especially because he made it seem like he had just found out and I also chose to not use protection. He said he gets tested every 40 days and hasn't slept with anyone but me since we met, but he told me he had sex with a girl before me and he gets around a lot. I had just gotten out of a LTR so chances are it was his. I went to the doctor the same day and waiting results, but have some itchiness (and anxiety).
Since Monday the guy hasn't reached out and went from us talking every day or every other day to just disappearing. He's the last one who sent a text which I didn't respond to, since the convo about the STI had ended. I don't know if he's mad because he thinks I gave him it, but I know I didn't, and was sincere and told him he's the only person I was with since my ex, without pointing fingers. Maybe he thinks i'm mad at him, but wouldn't he text me if he thought that? On top of the STI news, I feel horrible because it's like he lost interest after making me think he liked me. We hung out a lot the last month, sometimes for 12 hours straight, and he said he told me things he's never told anyone and we had moments of intimacy/cute moments together outside of just casual sex. He really acted like he liked me. In the last few weeks his interest dwindled, and I don't know if it's because of ME or because he knew he had an STI and was worried? He used to text me every two days saying how he missed me and now he hasn't said a word since Monday. He replied to my instagram story yesterday and messaged twice, as if he thought about it, so maybe he's nervous I'm mad at him? Wouldn't he just text me though? I told him last time I saw him that if a person doesn't show interest, I will just disappear, it's like he's doing it on purpose. I won't reach out unless he does, but what do I do? I'm so confused and hurt.
