He never made a move, I got over him but now he confessed ! What should I do?

There's this guy at work has been showing interest for me, but he never made a move. We went for coffee a couple of times after I invited him and the mixed signals kept going for months, until I decided I am over chasing him.

It took me some time but I finally thought I got over him.

Today he confessed that he has had feelings for me for a long time and he wants us to be a couple. I would be so happy one month ago, but now I just feel that the spark I had is not there anymore.

I am a bit nervous that I am missing my opportunity here for a good relationship (I am not getting any younger), but I just don't like the fact that I chased him for months and only now he confessed.

What would you do? Well as sad as it is, you clearly moved on after having to chase him for so long. Now that you're over him, it feels like too little too late. A few things to think about:

- The spark and feelings aren't there anymore after falling for him when he was so hot and cold. Forcing them won't end well.

- You have every right to want someone who makes you a clear priority from the start, not an afterthought once you've moved on.

- Dating a coworker adds work complications you may not want to deal with. How would you stay professional if it doesn't work out?

- His timing really sucks. You spent months into him and as soon as you gave up is when he decides to confess? Not cool.

- It's clear he didn't value you or your feelings enough then. What's changed now? Are you just convenient since he can't get other girls?

Personally I don't think I could go for it knowing I already went through the stress of being unsure where I stood. You deserve someone crazy about you from jump, not lukewarm then lighting your world. Keep it friendly working together and let him know your feelings changed because he took too long. Stay strong sis!

Some guys just take a little longer than others to make a move on a girl. Go for it, it just might be the best thing that happened to the both of you besides look at it this way, it should give you an in site as to what kinda guy he is If it works out. Like will he be honest to you or not. Give him a chance think of all the fun you two can have laughing at a bunch of shit that led up to you guys hooking up.. Good luck 🤞

Go talk to him and ask him why he didn't return your interest before. You have nothing to lose and a lot to gain.
