Where is the common sense? Do women not have it? I'm noticing on this app, and outside of it, women make decisions that aren't logical at all. Just very basic stuff , it's like their brain only goes so far. For example, this young lady meets a guy, and the first day of meeting goes on a date with him that night, then goes to his place the same night. He murders and dismembers her.

Lack of common sense part: You can look at the guy and tell he's off. Second , he's a complete stranger. Why would you go on a date with him the same day and then go to his house?

Then on this app they say: I never met this guy before. We've been dating for 4 years online. Um, how long should I wait to see him?

The thing is that nowadays, people don't think further than the tip of their noses anymore. It is just common sense that for the first 5-6 dates, you never ever take a stranger home or follow a stranger.

For the first few dates, you go to public places during daytime where there are lots of people around. You also take a number of precautions such as:

1. tell at least 2 independent people where you are

2. Never get into the car of that stranger

3. Never tell where you live

4. Get picked up by a friend or relative after the end of a date

5. Pre-dial 911 on your smartphone so that you just have to hit the "Enter" key in case of emergency

6. Turn on the GPS tracking on your smartphone

7. Get a pepper spray or mace (if allowed by law)

If you take those basic steps, then you should be safe.

She was probably a transgender or a prostitute and it pissed him off. Either that or she was dumber than I would have thought after all the news articles of such killings. I still remember the girl who left a bar with 3 guys and texted her friend "I think I'm in trouble!" and was found murdered.

Every girl and even guys should be telling people where they're going. I've had a few tinder dates and honestly I was afraid to have them come to my apartment because I didn't know if I'd be getting set up for a robbery or something. The first few dates should be very public but you should always tell people where you are, when you expect to get back, and even the general vibe you have as it's going on. One girl told me she was doing that and I honestly completely respected it and it didn't bother me at all

I don't know where is the common sense, or was just and "attempt" to just "have/be with someone"...🤷‍♂️, i mean i wouldn't trust not even my own shirt that will last on me ti'll the end of the day... I’m reading your replies and you seriously seem like you lack empathy.. yeah what she did was stupid, but she was a still a person, who has a mother, father, siblings and friends who are probably devastated over this. Nobody deserves this and sometimes we as humans, just don’t use our brains. Some men are very manipulative and succeed at getting us to do what they want, which is why all of us have been in abusive relationships where we should have left but didn’t, etc.

For you to say you “can’t even feel sorry her”, are you normal?

They probably lack common sense but considering thousands of people go with someone for ONS on the regular it isn't that surprising.
I went once with a guy who texted me saying please come meet him and kept bugging me from POF. He was hot so I met him at 2am hoping he would kill me but he never did, I turned off my phone and everything lol. He drove me to his house (he lived about 5 mins away with his parents and brother) we hung out and talked for 15 minutes in his room we drank juice boxes and then he drove me home, he ended up being my boyfriend a week later.

A woman should be able to do anything or go anyplace without fear of getting murdered. Same goes for men. Unfortunately thats not the reality. There are some disturbed people out there so you have to try to make reasonable choices. I know lots of men that would never walk down certain dark alleys downtown by them selves. Same goes for women. Minimizing personal risk is not just a female thing. Its just as easy for a woman to kill some guy she picked up. Why make this a female thing?

why is it a matter of common sense, why don't MEN just NOT be murderers or rapists and put women in danger - i do understand the frustration because why do so many people put themselves in shitty situations but it's not their fault, sometimes people can act all nice and normal and completely destroy you anyways

The question shouldn't be "is common sense not common in women," but rather "why is common decency not common in men (or humans)?"

Trusting a stranger should NOT cost you your life. That's not an offense that deserves capital punishment. How is the problem with this situation not the fucking MURDERER?

People that do hook ups often aren't very intelligent. Most likely if someone is going to someone else's house on the first date, they are trying to hook up/have casual sex.

by the way, just over 26,000 homicides in a year, but over 640,000 abortions per year. Yeah, women kill FAR more than men do every single year. (want to use the rape excuse? It is just over 300 HUNDRED from that, so the 640,000 plus per year are NOT from that).

Well, people go on dates with strangers they meet online everyday.. very low percentage of them turn out to be like that, so.. not everyone expects the worst to happen!.. but the problem is some people just really lack survival skills/instincts... and that's exactly the type of people psychopaths and murderers go for.. seriously, looking at this mf's face , it took me two seconds to realize he's no good!..

Haven't you heard? Common sense is out of fashion. A lot of people seem to think if they whine on social media enough that the world should be safe, then it is safe. Wear what they want, act like they want, go with who they want. And if it goes wrong, well that's someone else's fault and victim blaming. It's bs. But that's the world you've inherited.
