When I read your question, one of my favorite quotes came to mind:
"This is one of the marks of a truly safe person;
They are confrontable..." (Dr. Henry Cloud)
It means a lot to me to be allowed to say what I really think without being immediately dismissed or corrected or critiqued. To be able to disagree with someone, and feel like the disagreement is separate from our friendship and I am not going to be abandoned, that is precious. I've been in groups where saying or asking something other than the accepted narrative could throw my entire character into question. So being valued as a person and an individual, in spite of differences, is very meaningful to me. That gets my attention because it seems very uncommon.
I get none of the above, literally nothing. And that may be because I experience that sort of stuff a lot different from most people since I have a deeper understanding of how some of that stuff works even if I didn't knew it at the time I last experienced it.
But my last girlfriend I had none of this feeling stuff with at first, I met her online. It was something else entirely, we immediately started off well because we bonded over a common interest/desire and I had caught her eye by reading her like a book. She was also pretty so everything aligned. That opened the door to us talking to each other and spending time. I got along really well with her.
So as we were getting along well the more I began to learn about her the more I liked her, the more we began to trust each other the more she let her energetic guard down. Then suddenly I felt who she really was when she opened that part of her energy up to me, my soul said "OMG ITS YOU!". I still believe she was a former partner of mine in another life, because now she opened that part of herself up it was instant recognition and it made sense why I already liked her so much not knowing it yet. In that moment I fell even deeper.
I don't fully remember when the telepathy between us began but if you are close / well aligned with someone you can experience strong telepathy together. These sparks and stuff you talk about is probably a telepathic connection. I know that because I have unique experiences with telepathy and as a result I know for certain that's real and probably more common than you think. But for the safety of others I won't go into details its a life experience they can discover for themselves.
If there's a soulmate like that who immediately recognizes me and is very open in sharing that connection maybe it will be different for me where I instantly feel this with her. But assuming that she to will take a while to open up, and knowing that feeling can be false I instead pursue her based on who she is both looks wise and personality wise.
When you have your first disagreement, maybe she will start cursing, throwing things, calling me names, spreading lies about me, file a false police report, or otherwise cause more drama. End of relationship.
Or maybe she says, “Let’s take a few minutes or a few hours to calm down and then we can talk about it.” That is much more likely to be a keeper!
When I was dating. . . if she was gentle and kind, not highly opinionated, well mannered, and intelligent, she was asked for a second date.
Tbh I wonder if any relationship is worth pursuing anymore. It's all hypocrisy and fake shit now. I only trust my mother.

It doesn’t exist. No woman on earth is capable of a modicum of respect. Feminism has won. YAY!
Hmm. I don't think that's true. It's just hard to trust people. So many (guys AND gals) are shady nowadays. Respect is earned through trust from both the guy and the girl, building as they get to know one another. Having said this, there IS a definite shortage of actual ladies and gentlemen who respect all those around them...
Well I mean… there’s been how many incidents of women beaten or raped and men standing by refusing to help. In our society we put women above men in terms of value and that scientifically acceptable. But if those we put on a pedestal aren’t helped then why would these people help ME someone who’s believed to be a sacrifice when shit hits the fan? The titanic women and children first. The draft only men. We men are meant to be a sacrifice and women are meant to be treated as precious…
But so much fucking disrespect for men and so many men feeling they don’t have a place in our society. Why would they defend that?
It has to be ease of being myself and the other seems to genuinely feel the same.
On my first date with my future wife, our date lasted the WHOLE day and we waited about 45 minutes for our table for dinner and that was one of the fastest and most enjoyable 45 minutes.
I don’t. Consider the state of marriage. It’s not a real commitment anymore it’s a whimsical choice ended without fault. Consider the cost of divorce… everything amazing that comes with a relationship is lost the moment you divorce. So marriage gives you everything and divorce takes it all away after you’ve grown attached to it.
Women’s only value to me now is sex and I don’t really care about it sex anymore. Don’t get me wrong I have women I know in my life that I respect and cherish but that’s different from pursuing a whole new relationship.
@VanillaSalt You're so young to be so jaded. Divorce sucks, sure. Leaves you like an empty shell for a while, but you know what? We grow tf up, rebuild and come back stronger than we were before.
A lot of divorced women feel the same way about men -- they're just objects now. But so many others are open to starting over, starting fresh, etc... Why not give it a try?
I lose my children… she takes them from me. Because she thinks she can do better. I still love her I still fight for her but she walks away with my children… that’s not jaded. That’s justified.
I don't know if you have children but what would you do if someone stole your children from you? Now what if it was someone you trusted?
@VanillaSalt, I hear you. Yeah, I have kids and none of the journey way easy. The guy ran after any skirt that crossed paths with him and I was left picking up all the pieces... and all the bills... no child support, no alimony, nothing. A deadbeat with a hot itch to chase. What a wonderful life.
As for stealing my kids, I'll bite my tongue bc I don't hang all my dirty laundry out. I know how to grin and bear it so I don't lose myself to negativity. I will say that I trusted that bastard with every part of me and what did he do with it? Complete and utter betrayal.
I empathize. Betrayal can only come from people you trust. I don’t trust anyone besides the people I know. I learned a new word the other day… misanthrope. As negative as it is… I can’t trust women not to steal from me the things that really matter. They’re given the opportunity and even incentivized to throw me away. If I fall short for a moment it’s dangerous… I might miss that they’re angry and they choose not to communicate the reason so I can’t even do anything about it… I can live with all that of course. But I cannot live with what they take from me.
A woman can cheat, divorce, take my children, and take half my retirement.
That this CAN happen easily is all I need to know to know I cannot trust you.
No fault divorce… what even is commitment. “I don’t feel like trying anymore so I quit”.
56% of marriage end in divorce. 80% of divorces are filed by women.
90% of the time women get the children.
It’s 50:50 that a prenup will be thrown out in court. If it is or you didn’t have one she gets half your life’s work. And if you mention a prenup the marriage is off because you don’t trust her and plan on being divorced…
Justify the risk for me.
The risk is my life… I would die if I lost my children. I don't know how women justify life or if all men justify life the way I do but… For me the purpose of life is being useful to someone. The peak of this is family and children that rely on you unilaterally and unequivocally. When you take my children and family you have taken everything I live for and believe in. If that happened ide have no reason to live. If a drunk took my family ide kill them. If my wife took my family ide have to kill myself. Maybe not suicide but ide never trust or care about anyone again and that’s as good as death.
No connection is worth pursuing these days. I love being single and being able to see the world, live comfortably and just take care of myself and be selfish for once. I'm not about to accept no broke ass, toxic losers into my life. Most men these days are good for nothing. I'm about to not take care of no man but myself.
I easily fall for a girl that has similar views, interests, sense of humor, direction in life (like how they envision their life 20 years from now), way of thinking, communication style (like when they know exactly what I'm trying to say before I finish and vice-versa), etc.
I would consider meeting a person during an event or activity that you enjoy, to be a good start towards a connection that is worth pursuing. That way you're meeting a person with common interests and right off you know that about the person. Of course there are a lot of other things to take into consideration, but common interests is a good start.
On the same page and same timeline about the things we want in life. We also share similar values, morals, hobbies and interests. And he's cute and only dates with the intentions of longterm (or marrying)
I guess some signs would be where I feel a sense of familiarity or comfort in their presence. Everything just flows and feels easy.
They value my opinions and my feelings etc
Similar beliefs and values help too
You spend a whole afternoon with her and you still don't want it to end

Been there.
That's your opinion.
@Guacamole409 While I always like a side of guac with my meals, you're welcome to post your own opinion rather than spamming @exitseven's opinion.
@Guacamole409 no fair, nobody really knows whats in Spam.

Seven, SPAM is the bulk crap you get in your paper mailbox, email or texts. It's unsolicited junk. SPAM is not possible on this site, but the geniuses here still use the term. Dish doesn't know that we are friends that sometimes fight.
I swear to God, I posted this pic on this site, and it was deleted for being spam.
You can't make this shit up. The mods are really that stupid.
I like your truck, but I still want my VW bus with a sink. :)
You like being w that person, low friction, high compatible.
Connection… you must be very caref with as it is subconscious familiarity. May ir may not be good.
Tbh I never know. Time tells if it’s worth it even if they seem great & a connection at first. But I try not to fall into “potential” as it’s very common for everyone..
I definitely do. I would love to have a special connection with someone. I would love to have my own person. I want to feel wanted. I want to have that one person that knows me inside and out and me to know them.
I want to feel safe
A connecting flight if the layover is in a red state... 😂🤷🏻♂️
Some good signs are..
If she makes me feel safe, cared for, understood, desirable, comfortable, etc.
She is wise and patient.
She shows a lot of interest in me.
She is like an angel.
She shares interests.
If they strike me as someone who's genuine and has similar values, I'll often pursue a relationship (even if not romantically).
a mutually connection you feel with someone. Its usually the guy who makes the 1st more, hopefully she is receptive
I'll see if we enjoy the company of each other and how much things we have in common
I’m a true romantic. I believe it’s when you first lock eyes and know you’ve found THE ONE
Sense of humor and flexible personality, not stiff persona
Lol see my response to your prior question.
Thank you!
I dont like relationship, never had girlfriend nor planning to have one either, so I dont go out and ask girls out. The only thing I would need from a relationship is sex and Whenever I need sex I just go and find a prostitute.
Someone who respects me and cherishes me.
Eye contact
The eyes rarely lie...
None.
a mutual one...
beats me
