Is it ok if I initiate a kiss or is that too forward?

I know this a different time period. Normally "guy kisses girl." My question is if at the end of the night on a first date is it ok for me to initiate a kiss or will a guy not like that. Will this run guys off? It is not the expected thing I know. I just wondered how much times have really changed. Sometimes this may help shy guys or maybe they will not like it and make them feel uneasy. I don't want to do that. What do you think?

I'd say it's OK if things are going well. The mistake a lot of women (people in general) make is they force the issue. Just because the date seems like it went well for you doesn't mean it went well for him. And vice versa. The last woman I dated didn't show me any clear sign she was into me yet she wanted me to come home with her. I know that probably sounds confusing to you but you'd have to understand all the specifics of the situation. And the fact is I don't go home with just anyone for any reason. I needed more for that to happen.

Of course it's ok. When I was dating, I usually initiated a kiss but only when it was clear she wanted one. Don't contort yourself to try to be what some guy wants. Be yourself and find the guy who is happy with that.

... I think its great but I suppose its at that point your running same risks as men. In that what if they turn away or jump back and say " what are you doing" ( not that I think thats likely.

There are no rules. If you're not certain it's what he wants, lean in very close and see how he responds. I think most guys will lean in the rest of the way for the kiss.
