If you have a girlfriend or boyfriend online do they count as a real boyfriend or girlfriend ?

I don't see why not, Other people will of course judge and look down their nose at it... But just because they're meeting up to do menial things, does that mean they have more fun or that they're a better potential couple? Of course not, I have a lot of friends online who I get on a lot better than people I do know personally. Slightly different from a boyfriend/girlfriend scenario, but on a similar path. Only real thing I think people would moan about is the physical aspect, which if you really think that you NEED it, you're being close minded. I'd rather have someone who would be perfect for me as opposed to getting laid once in a while with someone I'm not that bothered about.
i'll never understand the whole "cyber dating" thing. But that's just me
