Depends on how you wear it. The guy in your photo is not professional. Women who wear their hair like that are not professional. Long hair should be pulled back in a professional environment.
Make sure it's brushed and it looks good up too. Long hair is quite attractive in men actually

Absolutely! I find long hair, slicked back and well-kept more professional than short hair honestly. Adds more character and accentuates the face. Of course that’s just my personal opinion!
Depends on your job. The example of my brother shows that it's usually not. He had long hair until recently, couldn't find a job. From the day he cut it short, he had much more positive answers and even found a shortly after.
Depends on the industry. Creative industries get my forgiveness to have more personal style. Conservative industries like banking or consulting, not so much.
I knew someone who had long hair and it just looked weird on him. It made him look like Fabio so he cut it and he definitely looked better with short hair.
I use to have longish curly hair and my friends kept telling me I'd never get a job looking the way I did. But that's their opinions and I personally think you could definitely be professional with long hair as long as it it kept in good condition.
It takes time to get people to get use to things. For example. When suits came out, it gives some people a bad first impression because it's new but it started to grow on them.
Remember as a child, we don't like wearing suits because sometimes we think it looks gay but it started to grow on us. I use to hate suites now I love it. I use to be indifferent to having long hair and now I enjoy it. So what if men never cut their hair in the first place? I bet you will give men with short hair a bad impression because in history, men with short hair are slaves or prisoners. Then when men started to become factory workers in the 40s, they all decided to cut their hair because it's comfortable then it turned into a tradition. But we're living in a factory era now. It's 2018.

If you have long hair, you better have a clean cut. Here's a professional with long hair :
Depends on your job.

I don't see a single reason why it wouldn't be?
I like long hair on guys better anyways its just the most universal hairstyle for humans
Totally, yes, I don't see why not. It's old fashioned to say no.

Keep it looking nice, Tie it back when needed.
Of course it can look professional.
Yes, I think it can.
Keeping it tied back may look more professional in the working environment, however.

Yes and not all guys look like a fabio with long hair. People just aren't really used to it that is why it's because of the brainwash.

Guys with long hair is a privilege! 😍💦👅
No wonder! I guess CEOs who are balding don't like it because they look more superior than them. 😂
That's why it enslaves them lol. Guys don't like it but girls do in the poll lol.
I'm not trying to offend you but I personally don't like long hair on men.
If you are an artist, then maybe.
But if are working in a corporate workplace NO.
You don't guarantee it's a always a no. Having long hair don't affect people personally or even harm them.
Who has the time to discover your personality in one glance?
The first impression is what that counts.
Not everyone has the same first impression. If a long hair bothers you then it's subjective. Not a fact.

*But were not living in a factory era now.
If you're a tech star you can go as you like. My friend (Ph. D in Chemistry) had a bright red mohawk for years.
I’d say if they put it up in a pony tail or bun like thing they would
Yes! And long hair is so sexy on guys
Yes just depends how it's maintained
I mean look at Harry styles
