I suffer from anxiety severely, I have a job that I do customer service in, my job everyday is a constant hostile environment, always having to argue with irate customers and then sometimes we have to deal with supervisors who seem like the interaction with them trigger my anxiety. Normal people are able to just woro through it and move on, but this stuff effects my day to day life. After work I find myself still suffering from work stress, when I wake up, instant work stress begins soon as I open my eyes, I have even began eating out of stress and anxiety. How can I over come this? I feel like I'm weak and can't handle things normal people can.
There's two things you can do to resolve this situation: Either find another job, or confront your anxiety. The first one is the easy way out - but it might happen in other jobs, too, and maybe you like your job and it's just the anxiety getting in your way. It's never a good idea to make life changing decisions based on anxiety unless you have tried everything else. How long have you had that job? Often anxiety gets better with time if you keep at it. If this has been going on for a while I would suggest getting some counselling.
