Why are warehouse jobs so stupid?

So I started this stupid warehouse job where I only get one 15min break and 30min of lunch and that's all you have during an 8 hour working day of unpacking and moving hundreds or thousands of boxes in a single day.

All this job has you to do is scan and move all of the boxes to a different pallet because they want you to seem as if you are actually doing legit work. But the way they do it you can just leave it how it came to the warehouse walk in call it a day and walk back out. They call it sorting but you are just moving the same boxes over, it's pretty dumb.

And on top of that you only get paid an average of $400 a week with hopes of making $400-$800 depending on "how hard you work".

your job is not to know or question the logistics...

your job is to do what you're asked to do... and if you can't understand the importance of sorting, then that's probably why you're the one doing the labor, and not the one making decisions.

and make sure you're doing it correctly and never slack... what would really suck big time is if you get injured at this kind of job, so watch out for that.

Because it’s like working at McDonald’s. It’s a job anyone can do. Jobs that require zero skill typically have bad employees. Yes I just generalized a ton, but if you look at it objectively you’ll see it.
