I think honestly education at school should involve EVERY aspect of life: nutrition, sexuality, civic behaviour, politics.
I think school should form first of all responsible citizens that will act in a society and they’ll express their grade of education through their actions.
In my country we have nutrition education at school, it’s inserted during science and biology lessons at high school (at least, at the time I did high school I had lessons about responsible nutrition, but I don't know if today’s still so).

It would be a waste of oxygen and time.
a 4 year old knows that Macdonalds is bad for you compared with healthy food, fruit etc.
it’s not hard really, a person would need to be really thick (pun intended) not to understand basic shit like this.
No, people should already know this stuff. Just how dumb do you have to be to not know pizzas make you fat.

Yes. Schools include a lot of useless stuff and exclude a lot of useful things. For example, not everyone needs to know things like the quadratic formula or Pythagorean theorem. Not everyone needs to know complex physics or biology or chemistry. Just teach the basics and leave it at that. What should be added as a replacement is basic nutrition, how to manage money, how to apply for jobs, things that every person will use at some point in their life.
People can be educated, but education has to match reality.
Who among the worker bees has time to come home after a hard day's work (and brutal commute) and is ready prepare nutritionally balanced meals? Toss a frozen pizza into the oven, bake it and then put it on the table. Not only will the brats love it, but it will also keep the little money pits quiet until bedtime.
It actually was taught in the high school that I went to. It was part of a class that was required, and that class taught a lot of health related topics. I thought it was a great class to be taking.
Yes, I agree. In college one of my subjects was health studies. It should be taught as a compulsory class in high school.
