I recently just finished up a three interview process last Tuesday for a veterinary technician position. I did a zoom interview with a recruiting agency they liked me so they sent my information to the clinic manager who then set up another zoom interview with me where he combined his questions and then recorded the interview to show the partners of the clinic ( veterinarians who own it). They all liked what they saw/heard because then I got called in Tuesday for a working interview 8 am to 2 pm. Where everyone was very nice and I had a great time meeting everyone and getting good idea of how the clinic works. I met with the partners individually worked with their teams throughout the day had a good time. The office manager at one point asked what size scrubs I wear and when i could start. Went over what I would start at etc. At the end of the working interview he told me he doesn't like to offer the job right on the spot because he hands out a like form to all his employees (I literally met and worked with everyone on staff that day) to see what feedback they had on me. He said to expect an email from him the next morning most likely. Well…. I didn't get an email from him I sent a thank you email for allowing me to come in and work with everyone and I had a great time. It has only been 5 days since they are closed weekends and the holiday. Is it safe to say I didn't get the job or should I wait a little longer? The indeed ad said they are hiring multiple candidates so I am hoping it is just they are holding more interviews. But at the same time the manager did say he most likely would send a email the following morning and never did.
Seems a bit fishy to be honest.
They got a FREE days work out of you. But if they are doing the same with other candidates then it's bad practice from their end.
Normally it's best to wait around 2 weeks from interview to follow up. Might be a bullet dodged, so don't get too sad over it.

It is hard to say for certain but I imagine new employee orientation is Monday? Two weeks is a good cut off time period. That being said, I heard from some people three weeks later.
Keep looking. Then if they contact you back you might be the one with a choice. (That was rotten to not email you either way)

I can guarantee say you , they won't give you a response. Look for other jobs.
They’re either interviewing more candidates or they don’t want you.
