As I see it, there are two likely possibilities, which are mostly, but not completely, mutually exclusive:
First, that there'll be more (likely tech-driven) attention and emphasis paid to individual students' needs and abilities. This, to my mind, is far preferential, since I remember MY days in school, when plenty of attention was paid to those who were falling behind, but those who were being held back (in terms of speed) were ignored. I'd either get intrigued by what we were learning and read ahead, wanting to know more, or get bored of waiting for everyone to catch up, and read ahead, for want of anything else to do. And while I was by far the worst of my classmates for it, I was NOT alone in that situation.
The second option is the way many politicians are pushing for: more and more politicized education, trying to brainwash the next generation into THEIR way of thinking, with less focus on examining the facts and learning, and more on indoctrinating kids to come to the "correct" conclusion. Teaching them to stop asking questions, and just accept the answers they're given.
Hopefully not as abysmal as it is now.
