Lol no, unless your teaching kids about politics without a bias opinion I remember in 5th or 6th grade when it was Kerry Vs Bush we learned midly about it and my teacher taught us without a unbiased opinion.
Not some crazy rainbow representer,, who thinks they can force there clown world bullshit down the kids throats lol and tell kids they need to be weak limp wristed SJW hippy communist.
Well, to an extent. Like political historical event during us history, but it needs to be an unbias discussion that has nothing to do with someone's personal views.
Students should be taught critical thinking skills when it comes to politics. Not a this is good this is bad but distilling propaganda from objectivity (for example the conveniently vague phrase "Make America Great Again"). Also methods of persuasion used by politicians.
Of course teaching the principles of politics should be part of the education system, like how our politicians are elected by the people and then work almost exclusively for the major Corporations and lobby groups.
i would say teach politics in a purely discriptive fashion. not in a normative way. the point of politics in the classroom is to understand how it works. not to forge opinions about it.
No. The only politics you're allowed to talk about is the one that goes with the lesson you're teaching, to explain the context, in history, or in geography.
And most importantly, KEEP YOUR FUCKING PERSONAL OPINION FOR YOU.
At an age when children are old enough to understand.

Butt-hurt Republicans think any teaching of facts that go against their delusional world view is a political attack. It's been that way since the Scopes trial.
It’s not good to suppress discussion in a productive way, and during history people need to learn about politics. I would hope extremism is not fostered but discussion.
Only in the sense to teach how the political system works for their country so they understand it once they are old enough to vote. The school system shouldn't be pushing the political agendas of a particular political party though.
Discuss? Certainly. Force their bloody opinions down the students' throats? No.

This was during psychology, ethics, criminal justice, & history. Ironically enough not once was it ever in an actual political class where it was suppose to be discussed

Proselytism is not allowed down here... for good reasons
I would create a curriculum that was based in truth and not fiction.

Christian proselytizing is a much larger problem in American public schools.

Yes, it was at school that I did my first anti-feminist debate.
Politics have no place in the class room and I'm glad those of us with a brain voted the same.
Yes but they shouldn't give their opinions as much as possible.

Yes, if it's a social studies class. Otherwise, no. Stick to the subject.
In general, yes. Pushing a specific party or person, no.
