My uncle was legally blind and had very good health insurance, if he quit his job back before his eye surgery, he would have gotten $80,000 a year til his dying day, but he chose to continue working. My cousin’s husband made so much money in hedge funds, he decided to invest his money and made so much in investments, he could live on passive income for the rest of his life, but he still does consulting work. I know a girl who got accepted into medical school in an Ivy League American school and got kicked out after one year. If she had chosen medical school at a less reputable school, or built up her credentials before doing medical school, she would probably be an MD now, but she choose one of the hardest schools in the country and got thrown out. I also know girls who work 12 hour days and date Ivy League professors, when they could work 6 hours a day and date an engineer. Is everyone trying to be the top dog? Like why do people like Madonna keep working in media? Elin Nordegren doubled her 100,000,000 without working by investing. None of these A list celebrities need to work to boost their cash flow.

Some people are insecure and worry about money. Even if they have millions they feel that either it is not enough or that it might be gone some day. I get this. I was going to retire a couple of years ago. Financially I could do it but then we had ll the inflation and the cost of most things have doubled. Biden will still be president for two more years so I worried that what if it doubled again or maybe it gets worse than that so I found a job and went back to work.
