Is a manager or supervisor allowed to call you an insulting nickname and laugh?

About 4 months ago my then supervisor (now manager; she got ascended last month) caught me briefly giggling by myself. I was remembering a comedy from a movie. Ever since, she won't stop calling me ''Loca''. She doesn't greet me by my name.

Loca means crazy girl. She laughs whenever she says ''Loca how are you''? I don't like it at all. I have a name and it's not Loca. I haven't done nor said anything due to the difference in power but are they allowed to call you an insulting nickname you don't like?

She calls me Loca in front of others too. When saying bye to everything, she says ''Bye Loca''. I hate it.

No. Totally unprofessional. If/when she does it again, politely tell her to not call you that. If she doesn’t stop, go to her boss. Also, make sure you evidence and/or witnesses that are willing to back you up. Good luck. ❤️

Doesn't sound insulting, sounds like she didn't mean any harm by it but if it bothers you that much then it's best you speak to her one on one and let her know you rather her call you by your name. So you will need to speak up and let her know
