Basically I was by the pallet stacker and there was a girl standing there doing nothing so I went up to scan for my next job and she went back and nearly hit my truck so I went back a little and there was a pregnant girls truck behind me.
I tapped her forks slightly and she didn't even notice until I said sorry and asked if she was okay.
I still felt really bad about it so when I saw her again I said sorry asked if she was okay and if we can go to the desk together and report the situation.
She said no and but was everything was okay but write down my truck number so I knew what was gonna happen from there.
I got called into the office and one of the mangers i really get on well with was there. He was really nice and said I wasn't in trouble and I had to make a statement.
I said nothing but the truth and said why have we got a pregnant woman in the warehouse to begin with it's a accident waiting to happen.
Apparently she said I hit her with my handel bar, I said how's that possible I was foot in front of her and I clipped the forks slightly.
If she was so badly injured why was she walking around looking for me for ages.
The manager agreed and once we were out the room he told me they think she's lying so she can get sick leave because that's what she asked as soon as she got in the office not can I go hospital to see if my baby is okay
I hit her that lightly if she was made out of glass she wouldn't haven't even broke.
They are gonna check cctv and once they do she will be found out to be a lair.
The girl who actually caused the accident got away with it all. My boyfriend is really mad about as am I and he wants me to fight fire with fire and try to get her sacked for lying but my work won't do that and I'll make it worse for myself.
The thing is this isn't the first time someone has done this to get some personal gain, I myself have been falsely accused of hitting a girl once before in past during a argument but when they looked at cctv it showed her being in the wrong and he never hitting her and she was moved to night shift.
Unfortunately it tends to the Romanians
I don't really care for the girl who nearly caused the accident because I think she was totally unaware of what she did which is still bad but not as bad as the other girl who lied just so she'd get sick pay.
I asked the mangers what would happen to her for lying and they said they will have a word with her manger
