I got caught following her! I looked up the story of my female colleague at the new school because her profile was public. But when I went to her profile again a little later, she had hidden her profile. I was disgraced. How will I look at her face on Monday? We only talked a little about her class with whom I have 2 lessons. It was the start of the semester. There isn't much talking between the two of us. Only a little. So how will she think about me? Will she gossip about me to her friends? It's a village school by the way and we commute on the same school bus. I was assigned there temporarily i mean i hope, just for a semester or two. Any help?

it's not, really. This is the present situation of technology we have. when people are interested in someone, it's normal to Google them and check out their social media to learn a little more about them.

yeah well, social media is for people to post their stuff they want seen by either the general public or by their friends only, and it is up to them to decide what they want. All the filters/levels are adjustable, so it's not on you to not look at someone publicly displaying themselves. It would be different if you were now trying to hack in and see what she's not trying to show anyone , now that she has her settings more private.
