I’m slightly annoyed my company didn’t give me shifts because I look skinny/ young what should I do?

I worked at DHL as an agency worker I noticed the manger would always put me on the scanner scanning barcodes and never helping out with the lifting and putting the parcels into cages. I was always tiring up on time and enthusiastic with my work. My manager said there was slightly too many of us and said he would tell some people not to come in. I’m really annoyed that I didn’t get any shifts this week and it made me think because I’m female and they swapped me in with a guy instead which is not fair since they always complained and never looked happy

That probably was the reason. A guy is most likely going to do a better job when lifting is involved.

Yeah I was hardly ever put where I had to lift parcels into cages. There was another girl who was bigger built and she was always placed on the line instead of me. It’s so annoying I liked working there because of the staff times and close to travel to work
