I'm keen to know because I love my job. I work as a secretary for the Ministry of Foregin Affairs and whilst I do not have a high salary nor a fancy title, I love the role and the benefits of this role.
I feel the job gives me a sense of purpose and belonging. While every day may not be amazing, it genuinely allows me to maintain a positive attitude on even the most challenging days.
You are where so many desire to be but sold out their happiness for a fee, sure making a large salary great but long as you love what you do, that's part of what it is to live a happy healthy life, if your there for 8 hours being angry upset hating what you do, that's a long time you open yourself up for all kinds of issues, mentally physically, cause you to make questionable decisions, turn to drinking drugs, find what you love enjoy doing world get out of bed at 4am in a thunder or snow storm every single day for, and don't concern yourself with the money, see as long as you lust after, chase that dollar the further it will be from you, every you do what you love the money will find you promise you, you will be healthier happier live longer be more productive don't worry about that this person have over you, they have more issues than you choice is yours live happy or make yourself and others around you miserable just don't complain too much about using your job to others, no on likes being around a whiner
I have days where I absolutely love it when I get to be very creative writing new code (programmer), but most days are very routine and just involve sifting through bug reports and wading through a gigantic codebase written by a variety of people while running the software with a debugger and following steps users provide to reproduce a bug.
I loved it more before I worked remotely from home so much. Since the pandemic, we stopped doing business trips entirely during which I could meet face-to-face with my colleagues and work with them in the office. We still haven't resumed the business trips and miss them a lot since it often gave me a surge of motivation and energy just working with my colleagues in person. I really hope we start resuming the business trips soon.

Do I think it's important to love your job? Yes. At the very least I think it's important to not hate it.
Now what I love is the liberty. When you work with people who give high importance to formalities and whims, you end up stressing yourself. You are praised for showing up at the office instead of working remotely, and you don't have flexible workimg time. Maybe for the idiot who is above you, your performance is measured according to how early you show up (= undersleeping) or to how many times you are at the office.
But luckily in my company I have nothing of that. Total flexibility and I like the domain of my work (I'm a designer in IT), so I expect to keep my job in the long run.

I at least liked my jobs, sometimes loved them. If I didn't like a job, I'd quit and find something else. So I liked every job that I had for more than a few weeks.
I had one job that I worked 6-7 days a week when we were busy. We usually worked Saturday, and maybe a half day on Sunday. If we had all day on Sunday off I missed it. I looked forward to Monday so I could go back to work.
Why do I think it's important to love your job? Because it would suck if you didn't. At least that's true for me. Some people really don't care what they do as long as they get paid for it. I'm not like that though.
Some people just don't like working and will never lover their job. That would suck going through life that way.
Oh, if only I could be like Mr_twoface and work at the Ministry of Foreing Affairs! But no, I'm just a loser who spends all his time in his mom's basement, getting banned from social forums for my outrageous comments about anal sex, horror cocks, coom jars, and Bible stories and whores. Life is hard, you know? It's a cruel world out there, filled with psycho lesbians and people who get offended for no good reason. All I can do is troll and laugh because that's the only thing that keeps me going. So, for me, love my job? Count me out, I'm just a pathetic troll in a basement, and that's where I belong.
I have worked for this restaurant since I was 15 years old and now at 40 am the operations manager reporting only to the owners who basically retired 10 years ago. I've loved working here and would expect this to be my one and only lifetime job.
The "biggest" complaint I have about my job is that it's very geeky stuff. The geeky stuff is what turns boys into very unattractive and socially awkward geeks and nerds - if they let it (which it often does).
I say "biggest" in quote marks because it's actually a very insignificant issue in itself. I get the perks of working from home and a flexible work schedule and I don't have to deal with retarded customers in retail or hotline support (but rather in the IT sector but the exposure is rather limited).
It's a love-hate kind of thing. I don't really want to have a different job occupation however. I am pretty comfortable with it overall. It's as good as it gets but pays nowhere near as much as being on the oil rig. Being on the oil rig is something I would have seriously considered once out of high school.
yes i love my job very much. i feel the same as you do in the 2nd paragraph. i feel bad for those who don't love their job or don't look forward to going to work in the morning.
Don't need to love your job, but liking (or at least accepting) your boss is a MUST.
Your boss can make or break, deadlines, turnaround time, getting work dumped on you last minute, or save you from "under the bus" situations. They don't have to be your best friend, but as long as they respect your humanity and prefer you over training anyone else, life is good.
Maybe once every couple months they'll actually crack a joke that lands.
I love my job because it's my passion in life. I wake up everyday wanting to go to work and excited to do so.
Honestly , I was more interested in the money , I didn't dislike my roles , and I had a chance to make great money ( at the time ) , I knew it could not go on forever but I got 20 pretty good years out of it..
I would have preferred to be elsewhere though , it was a relief when it ended ( stressful - 6 day min weeks ) .
Now , I'm self employed , but I don't " have " to do anything , still sometimes some stress , but not usually as bad.
I love my job. I think it is important to have some love for your job.
To either love the people you work with and like the thing you are doing or like the people you're surrounded by and love what you're doing.
I'm very lucky to say I have both, but I know what it's like to have the first two options and I don't think that's such a bad way to live life either... I'm just very stubborn.

Being jobless is a problem, spending whole your life for a job is another problem. So i don't have choice to whether love or not
Turned my hobby into my job, of course its not always fun but I essentially get paid to play with things i'd otherwise have to pay a decent amount of money to use.
I believe the highest honour that Jesus said you can have is service and not praise and attention by others, so I can understand why you love your job.
I think I have a good job. I am a network administrator. It pays well, not much heavy lifting. Not much stress either. I am not as psyched about it as I was 20 years ago.
I enjoy the work that I do, however loving it may not be the right term to use. While I love working with my hands and being a hard worker which this company allows me to do. At my age I sm close to retiring and have started a business doing the same type of work for myself. Now that will be the job that I love as I transition into working for myself.
Everyday is a new day, I am very compassionate, love learning and educating others, and love being able to make somewhat of an impact ☺️

I hate it! I’m away from home too much, I deal with a lot of arrogant and slimy people and I spend too much time alone when I’m on the road. Probably 70% of the time I travel, I’m alone.
I do not love my job. But I don’t hate it either. I see it as a means to an end.
I love my job. For a variety of reasons I cannot say where I work but what I do is exciting and high-risk. It pays decently and I have some great adventures and memories.
I do though it definitely has it's moments and I do think it's important to like your job but also you gotta be prepared to do what you need to in order to make ends meet if it comes down to that.
