These women always attack me and say “if he loved me he would be in a one sided relationship” if you loved your husband. You would work equally as hard in your own role. A lot of these women are expecting a free ride and when they see that being a mom and Josh wife is a REAL JOB…. Theh freak out.
If going into the workforce is easier. Why do literally none of them ever do it?
Not all stay at home moms are this bad. Plenty love their husbands and kids very much.
Raising kids is no joke. The first couple of years it's the toughest and gradually it may become easier. Men put up with it because they are often lazy of wanting to do the hard and boring tasks and instead focus on the income and doing all the lovely things with the kids.
I just think if a man works all the time and the woman does not. She should be doing all the work and childcare. Spending time with the children and childcare are two entirely different things.
Dear anon, do you have any idea how much work a mother does who has a number of young children? It is like a full-time job. They are probably doing a couple loads of wash each day, going grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning up after children 10 times a day, perhaps making lunches and making sure they get on the school bus and get off when they get home. They are also managing the household and making a budget. They may even mow the lawn. I would even bet that they would rather work and get paid for it instead of working all day entertaining 4 kids. You should try it sometime.
Unfortunately a lot of women have a fantasy of having a free ride. Until they learn how hard they have to work.
A wife who genuinely loves her husband works equally hard in separate roles. She doesn’t ask her husband for help around the house. If he’s working 70 plus hours a week.
I’ve known men who stayed home for a time and they said it was the easiest thing they ever did. Easier then working… And they did pretty much everything a stay at home mom does.
I mean most parents do laundry. Laundry is easy now. So are dishes. Changing diapers. I mean….
I mean all these chores are pretty trivial. That people do in a matter of hours after working a full time job
Especially when the kids are on the bus…. I mean sure when the kids are just growing up it’s a lot harder work. But spending a few hours in the morning at most and the evening is what most parents spend as it is.
If you’re homeschooling the kids. That’s a lot different of a story
And another thing. You’re staying home… you can’t even drive your kids to school?
I’m not being rude. Chores suck. But most people do them… whether they stay home or not. Especially when you start having the kids to laundry and dishes. And cleaning up after themselves once they reach that age
Let’s just be honest about what women used to do.
They made all their meals from scratch. Home cooked sometimes took HOURS to make. Breakfast lunch and dinner. Chores. Sewing clothing. There wasn’t easy boxed dinners or McDonalds. There wasn’t a lot of things at the store.
I’m not against women staying home. If they genuinely love their kids and husbands. Everyone has it rough in this life in SOME way or another. Not many women get the chance to stay home. It’s ungrateful women who just annoy the piss out of me.
I don’t think cheating is right under any circumstances. But stay at home moms are cheated on because the men are so miserable in a one sided relationship. Where he works 70 plus hours. To come home being nagged at given a honey do list. While she lays down and spends his money away.
And a lot of stay at home moms are notorious cheaters. I’ve been told that by stay at home moms themselves who aren’t bad. To be careful who you marry

But if he was working that much they wouldn't have much of a marriage either so why would she stick around in a marriage? He would never be there but to sleep, so what is she getting out of it? A lot of divorces happen and a lot of these relationships don’t last. But the woman’s getting a roof over her head. Usually a large house the list goes on.
Most the time the man is working a LOT in order to provide that kind of money to support a woman and kids at home. Even if it’s not 70 hours. It’s a lot.

You do realize it's more valuable financially for a mom to stay home with her kids? I know in my area it would cost 800-1000 a day for my kids to be in childcare. Most husband's wouldn't be able to afford kids without their wife staying home.
Most men and women are working. Most people have to work in order to afford a roof to live under.
