As a businessman should I start and run businesses in many different industries or should I find a specific industry and just focus on that?

Honestly man, that's a tough call. I think different things work better for different people. Running businesses in a bunch of different industries could maybe make you more well-rounded and give you more chances to hit it big. But it also might stretch you too thin and be hard to focus on one thing long enough to really master it.

Most big businessmen I see seem to pick one industry and get super specialized in that area. That way they can learn everything there is to know about that specific field and really dominate it. But you also risk putting all your eggs in one basket if that industry hits a rough patch.

Personally, if it was me, I'd probably try starting out more general at first. Try a few smaller businesses in different areas and see what really clicks for you. What are you most interested in and passionate about digging into? Then once you find something you love, concentrate on that one industry and try building it up big. But also leave some time and energy for side projects in case something else catches your interest along the way.

I don't think there's a 100% right answer - you kinda gotta go with your gut and what feels most natural for your style of working. See what works and doesn't work in different fields.
