Hello I wanted to ask if it was normal for me to be able to see things in a clearer light right after graduating from school and that previously I had no clue about why and how the education system was created? Like I just did school material automatically and only now I start to COMPREHEND things way faster (as I should have earlier). Can you explain why this might be the case? Thanks.
That kind of thing will continue to happen at varying points throughout your life, but perhaps the disillusionment that comes with your hormones stabilizing post puberty/getting out into the real world after high school makes this age a very pronounced time for this phenomenon. I remember feeling it after high school, after college, after having a child, and (possibly most intensely) when I entered my 30s... the last of which I suspect is related to the final stages of development of the prefrontal cortex coming to a close (for most people this happens in mid to late twenties, but for neurodivergent people it tends to take longer).
I expect I'll have this "light bulb moment" feeling again many more times. It's nice, but it's scary when you consider that this sudden comprehension means you were just walking around NOT understanding for however long... and then that leads to "Oh no, what things do I not understand right now?" 😅

Adolescence is a hard time for some. There are a lot more distractions that make it hard to concentrate. The human brain is not fully matured either.
Same with me..
I used to blindly memorize some stuff which I didn't understand but later they are super clear
