When is it too late to start over and save money?

I just started my new job at hospital and back then I couldnt find a job and I feel like Im being left out because I was depressed and didn't have a job for like 7 years and I felt being left out because most of my friends have a better career has money in a bank and me Im still saving like I just starting at age 27 so I felt like I wasted 7 years of my life and sometimes I cry and I just regret not trying back then. Like I sometimes compare myself because they are more successful than me and wish I have better career and have savings and money in a bank now. Now my goal is to save money to buy a house someday and just save money for my future kids

Ideally people should start to save as early as possible. You are still young and have plenty of years in front of you to save. Some people don't start saving until they are much older than you. Some never save at all. I've known people who had six figure salaries who saved very little.

Don't compare yourself to your friends. I suppose that it's actually good that you have friends like that. They will be a better influence than hanging around with people who blow all their money.

The fact that you acknowledge the importance of savings is a big plus for you.

Sometimes and most of the times is just... Not The Train that we looking for, so sometimes we just need to wait for the "right" one... that's what i did, i waited 2years, before i felt that the Job i just found, fits me like a "glove" and, i can start over...🤷‍♂️

The way to fix it is start today. You can't go back in time, but as soon as you can start the better off you are.
