Do you have a relative who doesn't belong in the job they have?

Just learned this recently. One of my wife's female
cousins, who is 45, is a gender studies professor, and a marriage counselor.. When I asked if she was married her self, my wife's response was "no, she hates marriage, and hates men. She's a Valerie Solanas type of feminist." The kind that believes men should be reduced to less than 10% of the total population.

I responded by saying, any person who is a marriage counselor should be married or their advice is utterly worthless. Women like your cousin are doomed to die sad and alone.

Red flags in a marriage counselor, unmarried, or divorced, feminist. Anything they would have to say is basically going to be worthless.

To the person, who won't be named, who essentially called me a liar.. This was a discussion between my wife and I. About a cousin she has not seen since she was in middle school (20 years). And I wanted to know why she hasn't seen her. Of you can't accept the fact that this is true, don't comment.

I do know a lady who is a marriage and family counselor who is divorced. Sometimes marriages just don't work out. Her husband was cheating on her. But I know nothing about whatever the dynamic was between them and I don't know this lady all that well anyway.

Yeah this person has never been married, is a feminist gender studies professor, and hates men.

Yeah if she hates men, she is certainly in the wrong line of work!! What is she going to do, tell all of her female clients to leave their husbands?

I guess so.. I dunno, all I know is every interaction I've had with her has been negative, she's always telling my wife to leave my sexist ass. And my wife just tells her to f off.

First of all please don’t call those creatures feminists. It undermines what an actual feminist is, which is just a very pure and basic equal rights advocate for women so that work and life benefits are manageable and equal when earned. True feminists are still very feminine but just capable of standing up for themselves. They don’t hate men or wish anyone ill.


Next, she has no business counseling anyone about anything with that skewed perspective and should be reported to her professional listening agency.
