How cringey is the new Batwoman trailer?

Cringiest show ever.

The amount of cringe contained within the CW's new "Batwoman" trailer cannot be quantified. Everything about this series screams gender politics propaganda and entitlement. From the whole "I need you to fix this suit" to "I'm not about to let a man take credit for a woman's work", there is nothing about this trailer or this character that seems even remotely heroic.

A) She is an entitled bitch. "I need you to fix this suit". AKA, "I demand you let me be Batman now because reasons. I don't need to earn it or prove myself. I demand you give me all the power that comes with the Bat mantle."

B) She is arrogant. When Alfred replied, "This suit is literal perfection", she says, "It will be when it fits a woman". Right, because Batman didn't CREATE the Batsuit, it's reputation, the image, the icon, and instill all of that with his own might and intellect. Nope. That never happened. Until a woman showed up Batman was dog shit. It's not like she needs to stand on the shoulders of a man's accomplishments, blood, and sweat for this to even work. Nope. All we needed all along was a woman sized Batsuit.

C) She is petty. "I'm not about to let a man take credit for a woman's work." ... wut? At the end of Batman Begins after Bruce had just saved Gotham, Gordon says, "I never got to thank you." Bruce replies, "And you'll never have to." Bruce saves lives and fights crime because he believes it is the right thing to do. It is his mission and he needs no thanks, no approval, no validation, and no permission. Batwomyn apparently needs to be able to take credit. In fact, she demands it. She's standing on Bruce's shoulders in order to be powerful, but she won't even acknowledge the fact that her power base isn't her own. And everyone has to verbally recognize her. Don't confuse her with Batman. No sir. "IT'S BATMA'AM!!!"

These are not the traits of a hero. This show sucks sweaty donkey balls.

I just watched the trailer. Putting aside all the politics for a moment (which is saying something), it just looks like the cheesiest pile of shit ever created.
