In the Korean drama "The Brightest Moment in Life" and after the bone marrow transplant failed, Seoyeon, who has leukemia tells Seojeong, her younger sister, to go to her concert. At her concert, Soe Yun dies as SeoJung sings the song she wrote and dedicated to her sister. See: 1:20:30 to 1:05:20
This isn't a "favorite" but I just thought of it because I'm rewatching the move The Secret in their Eyes. The movie is centered around a detective whose daughter was murdered. When she finds her daughter, the mother climbs into the dumpster where her body was left, and clings to her daughter's lifeless body. Man, it's gut wrenching.
Yes he kills himself by falling on his sword like samurai’s do! Amazing and emotional moment! Also Mel Gibson I’m brave heart! That is too emotional and have only watched it the once!

One of my favorites is from the movie The Last Samurai I won't post the scene in question because it'd ruin the movie for you if you haven't seen it.
Oh man, I remember that scene from The Abyss. Gut wrenching.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/1M00J5Q1Vv8Captain Bennett's (main bad guy) death in Commando. Hilariously bad acting. It's worth watching for a laugh at some 80s corn.
Tom cruise in the last samurai!
Hmmm. I've seen that movie twice but forget.
I tried to find a scene that relates but cannot. Cruise dies?
These others deaths are beautiful.
