I haven't seen the movie but I never liked Disney cause the tension between good and evil is too high for me to view it in a casual and uninvolved way and also the plot takes so long to develop and the segments are exaggerated and compartmentally separated so much from other parts of the story - I just don't find a lot of room for my personal creative reflection regarding the story - I like stories that are pluralistic and organic and mild in moral tension - why I've never liked any Disney Movie at all.

A+. The musical, design and story were so good. Even as a little kid I never compared it to disney. Cause all Disney musicals sucked a$$ in my opinion. Very extra and over the top ‘show tunes’. The musical in this movie was actually written and sung by musical artists, Richard Marx and Donna Lewis. Unlike Disney, that uses writer pianists 🙄.
The personality of the characters were real and relatable. Not ‘princess fairy tale’. I also liked the fashion designs by Chanel. Yeah, Chanel.
I've never actually seen this before but I find it weird that ameriacm companies use russian tales. I was talking with my russian friend who explained how he was reading a book, this book happend to have the exact same plot as "the black cauldron"(a film i wss obsesed with as a kid). By friend explained how they made it into a film which confirmed by sucpisons. isn't it weird how big animators steal russian tales?
I'm going to say, that's an A movie for me. And Don bluth if memory serves me right

I love Anastasia but I’ll give it a B only because Rasputin freaked me out as a kid.
I do have to say I love Once Upon a December though! It was a B. Loved the song and storyline. Anastatia was gorgeous. Dmitri is what ruined it for me. He looked old af in the face like a grandpa
Classic childhood movie. Anastasia was a role model for me growing up (along with Dora and Iggle Piggle from In The Night Garden) so for that, i'll give it a B
A. It really is a good princess movie. She isn’t a damsel in distress or a macho rough girl. She’s a real person with a relatable personality. Was so invested in the story. Thought the guy was super sexy too. Favourite Disney movie growing up.
Solid A. In fact if we are comparing it specifically to the Disney Princess movies it would be near the top.
I’d give it A+ it’s one of my favourite movies I’ve watched it quite a few times.
I loved that movie when I was younger but the movie really scared me.
A. It's always been one of my favorite movies of all time
Damn this movie was buried deeper in my memory than her family, dark humor aside yeah I'll give it like a B
If you know the Real history of Anastasia, was a dark topic. So this being made for children is a bit odd. It’s kinda in the same category as the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Anyway, I say B+
This is S class!!!
Also when I found that out that Anastasia didn't survive the attack on her family it hurt me.I'd give it a C, I was watching different movies from childhood. Whether they be Disney, Dreamworks, Universal, 20th Century, etc. I rewatched this one and thought it alright, a lot of boring times, pacing was a bit weird.
A. I used to love it when I was a kid.
It reminds me of good, peaceful times. As a child this was one of my favourites so A
As an adult I haven't re-watched it and can't judge lolA. I loved the whole story I keep watching it ever since I got the CD from my uncle as a gift
