It does not say where the chair is or how you are positioned on the ground. With the chair it is 0, 2 or 4 legs that could be touching the ground. With you it is 0,1 or 2 legs the could be touching the ground.
The second one is coconut.

Aah.. I had to google it because it started to bother me and I thought about the answer at one point, but it just seemed too disappointing answer for a riddle :D

It just wasn't as clever as the first one. When I realized the chair and bed has legs too it was this lightbulb moment. I thought I was clever when I realized to count my own legs because that reminded me of some other riddle I've heard before, but it wasn't even clever enough.

In the second one I didn't even think about the fact that it was a gift, I just thought about an object that you can drink, eat and burn. And the coconut was just a boring answer :D It just didn't seem like a riddle where you have to realize something clever or think outside of the box, you just had to think of a coconut.
