This question is inspired by The Divine Comedy, an epic poem by Dante Alighieri, detailing Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven.
For this, we'll be focusing on Hell, and its punishments. And I'll be asking you which circle you'd be in, based on your biggest sins. YOU CAN ONLY PICK ONE CIRCLE! 1: Limbo. Limbo is where good people who did not accept Christ as their savior go. Their punishment is not torture, but to spend eternity in an inferior version of Heaven, without God.
2: Lust. Those who were lustful and couldn't control their sexual desire in life are violently blown around by gusts of wind.
3: Gluttony. Those who overeat and overdrink are trapped in a stinky, muddy slush, and are eternally splashed by freezing rain. To make matters worse, Cerberus barks at and attacks anyone near him.
4: Greed. Those who hoard their money and recklessly spend it are split into these two groups. These groups are forced to fight each other with huge, heavy weights forever.
5: Wrath. Sinners here are also put into two categories: Wrathful and Sullen. The wrathful, who were violent and short-tempered, are constantly fighting each other. The sullen, who are short-tempered and gloomy, eternally drown at the bottom.
6: Heresy. If you taught beliefs that went against God and Christ's teachings, you would be trapped in a fiery coffin to be burned for eternity.
7: Violence.
7a: Violence against others will get you trapped in a river of boiling blood. And if you try to escape, some centaurs will shoot you with arrows.
7b: Violence against yourself (self-harm and suicide) will get you turned into a living tree.
7c: Violence against God (blasphemy) will get you trapped in a desert filled with burning hot sand, all while fire eternally rains on you.
8: Fraud. The offenses and punishments for this vary, so I'll be asking about this one for my next question.
9: Treachery. Traitors are buried up to their neck, head, or face in ice forever.

A few of these hits home to me. Either between Limbo and Lust. I think Limbo. I can control my lust, but sometimes, lust makes me impatient. Limbo because I don't believe in god. Do I think that there is a possibility of there being more than one god? Yes. Do I think that there is a possibility of there being any Greek or Roman gods and goddesses? Also yes. Do I think that there is a god out there? Maybe. After how Earth was scientifically created and the sources of god being scientifically explained/theorized, there is no valid answer if any deity exists. But believe what you want to believe. I don't care. Just don't preach me or force your beliefs onto me. You can't change how a person views things.
I replied with this choice because I have done both. I tend to be tight with my money now that I am older and don't like spending unless necessary or if I want to.
... Yeah, I couldn't put this in there because of the character limit, but the souls in the "Suicide Forest" (the damned who committed violence against themselves) normally cannot speak. They can only do so when they are injured and bleeding.
These souls are hurt every day by the Harpies of Greek myth, who use their branches to make nests and eat their fruit.
To make matters worse, unlike everyone else, the suicides will not be resurrected into their human bodies on Judgement Day. Instead, they will keep their treelike forms, but their human corpses will grow on their branches. So not only do you have your human body taken away as punishment for not valuing it, but you will be forced to carry a reminder of the humanity that you lost... forever.
