As a teen, I went to the movies with my best friend and her brother and between the three of us, we managed to get in three 20oz sodas, some boxed sweets, and 3 footlong subway sandwiches. It was awesome. This was before they started checking bags (at least at the theaters near me).

My wife does, she isn't a big soda drinker, so she just puts some flavored seltzer water in her purse or sometimes wine.
The theater we go to has those reclining seats, so they go in her purse, and her binkie goes on top.
She has never had an issue.

No. I know dow much of a theater's profits come from concessions, and I'm immune to getting fat, so I just go and get the giant popcocn tub that comes with a free refill (since one of thone will feed even me for most of a day).
You could probably do worse than suggesting to the owners that they offer some low-carb stuff, though; it's a pretty popular snack category these days.I love where I live haha.
No sneaking needed as we’re allowed to take whatever we want in. Once brought a 20 inch pizza to the cinema with friends haha and another we bought a grocery bag of snacks so I mean😂My thoughts were from the orginial Top Gun & Top Gun Maverick. Basically a 24 year old Maverick went "ballistic" with Admiral Benjamin's 15 year old daughter Penny. #DangerZone
Sure do. The theatres know better than to change the prices they do for food and snacks. So I just carry in one of my totes (purse) and fill it up with what I want. The ones they serve dinner inside are okay because those prices are reasonable. But snacks, hell no
Diet soda drinks are bad for you. Look up the negative health stuff on them.
Haven't been to a movie theater in like 5 years. But there were theaters in malls right next to food courts that had official policies letting you bring outside food in without hiding anything. Have also seen theaters next door to supermarkets that would let you bring in supermarket food (candy or whatever).
Think I took my own popcorn to a theater once because the theater stuff was always stale & nasty.- s
I do, they usually don’t have snacks that I like. I always buy a drink and popcorn at the movies and keep my goodies stashed in my pockets. Aslong as I’m buying something, the movie workers don’t really care.
My SO and I sometimes sneak something edibles into the theater, usually a few small bags of chips or candy bars un her purse. Popcorn at $8 for a small bag, and a candy bar for $3 ... too darn expensive.
It is tough to smeak any food in if you are a guy as they will ask you to empty your pockets and do a visual search
I have bought in like sweet tarts in small packages.
Women sneak stuff in all the time as they dont get searched. My wife sneaked medium pizzas in under her coat on two different occasions. I've smuggled candy in many times.
If we want sodas or popcorn, we buy them from the theater.Hell yes I literally snuck in some Chinese big ass tray of food under my sweater and held the drink inside my sleeve while my now hubby put his arm over me to play it off. 🤣
Best meal best day. 😂- u
I can't remember the last time I went to see a new release in a theatre.
Always. It's cheaper and I can get exactly what I want
It depends on what I'm craving for during a movie. Sometimes the kiosk doesn't have my choice, so I bring it. Mostly, I just go with a large buttered popcorn with topping and a an ice tea or rootbeer!
I do not go to theaters anymore but I used to do this.
I used to wear cargo pants and sneak beers into the theater. One Halloween my friends and I snuck in so many beers that we had to sneak some out afterwards.Yeah it’s easier during winter months because of the winter jacket and pockets , just go to dollar tree and stock up then off to the movies
I hardly have to sneak them in. I just carry stuff in my bag.
In the UK they don't really care or check for snacksI dont go to the movies. 1st time I did was in a long while and it was to see Top Gun Maverick - And I will go again...
My companion and I would always take a big bag of popcorn, drinks and any snacks that we desired. We even taken a small meal with us.
I don’t sneak it in, we are allowed to take our own, apart from hot food and alcohol.
you can buy usual hot snacks at cinema and also alcohol.I never buy any snacks/drinks @ Movie Multi’s, as they are overly expensive and it has been a long time as what was once a cheap night out has got really expensive and the quality of movies have declined dramatically.
