Have you ever read a novel or series, that were so good, that you we able to imagine the fights with you being in 3rd person?

I am currently reading Mistborn: The Final Empire and the narration of the fight between Shan Elariel and Valette Renoux is so good that I just can't keep my Kindle down at the moment. In fact, I fear I may pull an all nighter for this novel lol!

I am able to pause the scene, and observe it mentally from any angle of an imaginary sphere around the two characters.

Its like, I am in my astral form looking at something happening in some other world.

The only novel series I experienced this were wiitten by Rick Riordan, Sarah J Maas, Leigh Bardugo, Vampire Academy series author, Ally Carter.

More are also there, but I am not able to recall the authors' names.

I was so immersed and still am in such novel. It feels amazing. Satisfying.

So...

What is your experience with novels? Especially the fast paced scenes?
